The Didymian director and Editor-in-Chief Kerem Soysalan said “It is a great step for Didim’s media sector. We are also merging our other businesses under one name. I hope all residents will benefit from the new merger.
The director of Ozgur Ses, Mustafa Oge also said, “We always supply each other both in news and other businesses. We decided to merge the companies to give a better and faster service both to our readers and to our customers.” He also mentioned about the news flow problem with the Turkish and English papers; “We are looking at The Didymian with our limited English, where we read some interesting stories, but we can’t translate them. Also it is hard for the British residents to tell us their problems in a Turkish speaking country. All the relevant stories will be printed both in Turkish and English. Your voice will be louder.”
The merging companies formed under the Didimli Group will be The Didymian, Ozger Ses Daily, Easy Home, Ozgur Ses Real Estate, Help 4 U and Ion Insurance.
The new office of the Didimli Group will be located at the old Adliye building on the Yenisehir main round about.
