The Mayor of Didim, Mumin Kamaci is being taken to court for building an illegal road near the archaeologically protected area at the entrance to Didim.
Didim Council started to extend the road from the BP petrol station to the Temple of Apollo, where the area is archaeologically protected two weeks ago. During the work, Milet Museum sent a warning letter to Didim Council, advising them to stop the road construction and to ban traffic access from the Apollon Temple. The statement mentioned that the road between the two sites, starts at the BP petrol station and continues to the Temple of Apollo. This road had to be closed to all vehicular traffic to protect the Temple and the historical area surrounding it.

Where has the statement gone that promised a survey on the dogs in Didim? It has vanished from the website. We thought at last an opportunity for us to have our say on what we regard as dangerous and noisy pests. Have you decided not to carry out the survey?

What has happened to the the poll you were going to do about the dogs ? The link was there yesterday?. We don't all feel the same as Gill
The Turkish people should be allowed to run thier own country, they never had a problem before Brits came.
Wild dogs their mess , pack fighting and midnight howling,biteing don't mix with children.
As much as have liked my visit to Turkey over the passed 5 years the dog problem has got worse.
Let the Turkish people do it their way
